Depends on the condition of your study permit, you may work while studying and be eligible for post-graduation work permit (PGWP) after graduating from your program. While studying in Canada, students must make progress towards completing the program.

Designated Learning Institution (DLI)
An acceptance letter from a designated learning institution (DLI) is required to apply for a study permit. DLI are institutions, primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities that are approved by provincial or territorial government to accept international students
